To keep from spilling any feed when filling buckets out of a gravity wagon, I came up with a simple idea. I just cut a small arrow shape from a regular 2×6 and countersunk a round speaker-type magnet into one side. The entire piece magnetically attaches to and sits flush with the wagon’s spout to divert feed into as many buckets as will fit underneath. It also conveniently sticks to the steel of a machine shed for storage.
